BSBP Reveal

I just returned from a trip after being gone for 2 weeks.  I worked on this necklace when I had a chance, which was only one day while I was away.  I used the focal and the clasp with some of the beads she sent in this necklace along with, of course, seed beads!    I am working on another piece using more of the pieces Holly sent me.  I'll post it soon, so check back to see it.

The Bead Soup Blog Party was a lot of fun.  This was truly a bit of a challenge for me using the focal bead, but I am happy with how it turned out.  I love the copper color and the earthy tones in this with just a bit of glass in the combination.  Nice selection Holly.

I just started looking at all the reveals and love the diversity that's displayed.  Such beautiful beads and nice work.  Great eye candy!  So inspirational.  I love reading all the blogs and feeling so welcomed by the authors.  Thanks so much to Lori for creating this great opportunity to meet such wonderful and talented people.  Please check out the beautiful works here.  And go see what my partner Holly at Silverrose Designs created with the beads I sent her.  I love what she did!

Barbara, you did a great job working with the focal. I wouldn't have known you'd found it difficult to work with if you hadn't said anything - you've come up with a beautiful, well designed piece of jewellery. Great job!

Yes I can see what you mean by a challenge with the focal but you did a GREAT job. I also like the glass beads on either side of the focals- Your second piece is nice also. I am glad you had fun.

Ok so I looked at the close up and those are NOT glass beads on either side of the focal- they are Peyote beaded beads with lentils. I simply MUST know how to make them...Is that something you can share with me/us???? PLEASE!
