Teapot Art Doll

This is my latest art doll, a Teapot Doll made from hand dyed silk noils over a wire armature.  I've had these noils for quite some time and this was the perfect opportunity to use them.  She is heavily embellished with beads and sequins and her legs are embellished felt balls.  I am so in love with color and this Teapot Doll was just the perfect thing for me to make during some down time while I was sipping on some herbal tea.  It seemed so appropriate since I've been sick this past week with a lung infection and drinking lots of tea and water.  I know she has a lot of bling, but what can I say, she makes me feel happy when I see all her sparkles and jewels.  She is sitting on a chair just above my computer .  Her vibrant colors cheer me up every time I look at her.
